<R-66Y> if not, throw out the default page in a <div> called "stories"
<R-66Y> then, upon logging in, interface the xmlHttpRequest with frontPageContent.php (having updated the session to reflect the current user) and return sports stories

<R-66Y> replace the content of <div id="stories"> with the responseText from that transaction

<R-66Y> in any case, i can't think of a single place i've seen a login ajaxed
