<0> Hello, I have the most odd problem. I just install NForce 680i, everything is working okay and I am connected. However, I can't access any site from Firefox, Opera, or IE, as if nothing happens at all.

<1> dhcp lease time, need a quick clearing up, I always thoght this is how it worked. If leases are set for say 1day. And a box connects, gets ***igned say .110. Say a hour p***es, and you try to /release and /renew it will stick with the same ip, .110.

<2> so if the pool is big and there aren't a lot of new users coming and going, you'll generally get the same IP forever
<2> for example, my home LAN has a DHCP pool of like 200 IPs
<2> if I turn off my laptop for a year and turn it back on, It'll surely get the same IP
<2> because the other 200 won't have all been used to the point that it had to recycle my laptop's old IP
<2> But at a busy network with a small DHCP pool where there are only a few free IPs, it might have to give out your old IP while you are gone
