<0> Hello, I have the most odd problem. I just install NForce 680i, everything is working okay and I am connected. However, I can't access any site from Firefox, Opera, or IE, as if nothing happens at all. <0> I downloaded a 'light' browser called 'Light' and it's working fine, but none of the other major browsers are working at all. <0> DNS is fine, IP..etc is fine. I can use FTP, and here IRC... so what's going on? <1> dhcp lease time, need a quick clearing up, I always thoght this is how it worked. If leases are set for say 1day. And a box connects, gets ***igned say .110. Say a hour p***es, and you try to /release and /renew it will stick with the same ip, .110. <1> But say its been over a day, itll grab a new ip, if you reboot, or /release /renew
<1> Is that right or <2> Well, sorta <2> most DHCP servers give out the "least recently used" IP <2> so if the pool is big and there aren't a lot of new users coming and going, you'll generally get the same IP forever <2> for example, my home LAN has a DHCP pool of like 200 IPs <2> if I turn off my laptop for a year and turn it back on, It'll surely get the same IP <2> because the other 200 won't have all been used to the point that it had to recycle my laptop's old IP <2> But at a busy network with a small DHCP pool where there are only a few free IPs, it might have to give out your old IP while you are gone <2> in which case you'll get a new one when you come back <1> ahh k <3> hi all <3> anyone know a program for calculate Networks, cl*** A,B,C for a palm treo? thanks <4> [\snowe\] oh hells bells <0> hello, anyone here? <5> hi <5> wtf i found sth really nice http://www.myspace.com/theshakerproject <6> sth? wth? <7> lost me too <7> AcronymDefinition <7> STHSave the Homeland (gaming, Harvest Moon series)
