<sean_conn> well its an orinoco hermes card, and i know it supports monitor mode via use of netstumbler in windows. also there is apparently very good driver support for orinoco cards in fedora

<sean_conn> i have no idea. i can try just running a make install... will that overwrite the newer one on its own? =P
<Mjolnir> make install on what? Doing it on the whole kernel isn't necessarily a good idea.

<Mjolnir> Probably. What ultimately needs to happen is that the modules orinoco and orinoco_cs need to be replaced with the other version.
