<Trengo> each primary may contain up to 4 logical partitions
<Trengo> so its 16 total?
<Tramsie> thanks

<FenixNR> redhat sux? lol jk

<FenixNR> I'm just scared of writing over my current stuff
<deww> when you start a new machine, it should ask you to create a virtual disk
<deww> and you are given the option select the type (scsi, ide), size
<FenixNR> yea
<deww> it will write to that "disk"
<FenixNR> ok
<FenixNR> should I custom partition
<deww> that's entirely up to you
<deww> that's the thing with vmware! you can screw it up!
<deww> you can delete and start over
<FenixNR> so it won't actually format the hd?

<cmang> it's networking is all crapping out on me hardcore.
<Qwell> Idle247: yeah, I can also take snapshots and ****
<Idle247> huh?
<cmang> all of a sudden, a linux image just suddenly shuts down when you do "ifconfig eth0 up" (or, when the init script does. :). and then with the freebsd vm, suddenly it can't find our dhcp server.
<cmang> curse you, vmware. and your naughty ways!
