<0> It had a diagram. <1> Then...you **** <0> No, my toilet ****s. <0> Kinda. <1> not like it takes more than a whole THREE SECONDS to turn it the other way <1> "OH NO, water is DRIPPING onto my floor!" <0> but what happens if too much pressure causes the pipe to explode? I seriously have insane water pressure. <0> People are amazed by the pressure, it's seriously freaky if you are new and turn it on expecting a low pressure. <1> then you sue the condo management <0> oh <0> ok, back to my LILO problem, <2> make an insurance claim... <0> When I boot the 5.5 kernel it just hangs there. <1> One problem per household per day. <0> oh <0> :(
<2> the linux kernel is up to 5.5!!!! <3> 5.5 kernel? <1> damn, how long did I sleep for? <0> linux? <2> omg! where have i been hiding? <0> isn't this pound freebsd? <3> *cough* <2> bots activate moron detectors <4> Moron levels of 9 percent detected. <2> howto: check again? <3> oh oh. <4> you should ask Domilijn :). narf! <3> howto: don't kill me because I'm beautiful! <2> howto fire phasers at graz <4> Mmmmm botsnack. <3> slackbook.org, hmmm <5> awol, hmmm you who got no-ip do you know how to setup a subdomain on that again like: subdomain.subdomain.no-ip.com <2> never bothered to do that <6> nice... 4.0 <7> anyone know the fastest place i could get the latest ubuntu? <7> getting it at 500k/s right now. was hoping to max out my 15mbit down stream <2> local mirrors <7> all the mirrors for the dvd iso are in europe <3> gnight <7> i'll just wait i guess <8> is there a way to make /dev/dsp not wait for a full buffer to start playing? <3> (08.26.06 13:47) < ardya> sparr: thats a function of the player, not the device itself. <8> graz: ok, go ahead and paste the rest of the conversation too <3> you're smart, I shouldn't have to <8> <8> ardya: define "the player" <8> <ardya> anything that reads from the device. <8> <8> err, im not reading, im writing <8> <8> making noise <8> <8> ardya: the kernel is reading from the device. or the ALSA drivers. <8> now that we are up to speed... ? <3> yes, and you perused the alsa kernel code/driver code/etc <8> no, i did not. and i dont plan to. <3> module parms etc <8> i cant p*** module params, im operating in userspace <1> graz: Is that like looking in the mirror, and seeing a different face? <8> ive looked at the ALSA docs <8> but i dont really know what im looking for <9> hi <3> I dont have any mirrors, I'm too beautiful <1> heh <4> :-) <10> I need help setting up a MySQL database for Gallery2. Don't have time to read 1000's of pages to "get there" because im in the navy.. So help? :) <4> Yes, but only at the weekend. <3> SMK696: being in the navy is irrelevant to reading the docs. <3> If you want someone to do it for you, pay them, else start reading. <9> SMK696, whats ur rank? <10> Well stating that im in the navy just put's it in perspective that i do have little time. And concidering i earn less that 20$ a day i wouldn't have the cash to pay .. anyone <3> then I'd say you're in between a rock and a hard place.
<3> but your military, you adapt, or die. <3> Good luck. <9> SMK696, youre better off just reading the documentation <8> SNDCTL_DSP_POST seems like it would be the right one. but it doesnt work. and the docs say not to use it. <4> hay IdiotStic <11> hey, I've got this usb printer here, but when I plug it in, nothing shows up in dmesg. so I can't try to configure it or anything because my machine isn't seeing it :/. I don't have the usblp module loaded, because I get the error, can't find module usblp, but when I went to add the module (in menuconfig, when configureing my kernel) it says that I have it (has the M next to it). maybe the 2 problems are related? I know the <11> printer and the usb cable work, because I used them both on this machine when I had freebsd on it. Any ideas? <11> its an hp psc 2210 and I'm on debian <12> saneisjus: do you have usb support? <11> I believe I have usb support <11> other usb devices wouldn't work if I didn't right? <12> saneisjus: correct.. <11> erm, yes I know I do. I know I also have it loaded specificly for printers too ( in menuconfig, under usb support, then usb printers, there was the <M>) <3> and you recompiled the kernel aND modules after, right? <11> no I didn't change anything, when I got there I already had the support activated, so I just left it alone <13> hey how do i decrtpt RC4 encryption ? <13> i founded a script but seems to not work. <13> i need to enter a Key: <13> and i have no idea what to type. <3> if you dont have the key, you cant. <3> sounds like you're up to no good. <13> ****. <13> sorry i am so pissed off. <13> i was able to restore my database <13> but i can't decrypt it. <13> is this key good: pdshoppro? <1> You tell us <13> i really really do not know. <3> we cant know what key was used. <13> i found the script by google <13> This script encrypts and decrypts messages with the RC4 algorithm. Enter the key (p***word) and a message to encrypt or decrypt in the fields below. <3> how did you ENCRYPT it? <13> yeah <13> key meaning the p*** i set for encryption ? <3> how did you ENCRYPT it? <13> i didn't, i gave p*** to my friend and he did. <13> i dont know how to encrypt.. <3> then ask HIM how HE did it. and what key/p*** he used. <3> we cant know <13> ok sir. <13> thanks tho <14> doot <1> sj7trunks: y0 <14> sup qwell:) <14> was looking for a vmware-server serial <1> How's the new place treating you? <14> their site is down <14> netapp contract is almost over <1> the free one needs a serial?
