<0> MrStabby, what do you consider "propaganda"? The official story, which states that steal beams fly through 100 stories of concrete floors faster than they p*** through air? <1> "OMG WE KNEW ABOUT THE ATTACK BEFORE HAND, IT WAS US THAT DID IT" <2> kikr pasted "Trying to play tuxkart", view at http://genpaste.pengu.in/pastes/show/306 <1> time to format the xeon and put XP on it! <1> :D <0> tuxkart: indirect_vertex_array.c:1359: __indirect_glTexCoordPointer: ***ertion `a != ((void *)0)' failed.? Tell me nothing <3> the game loads <3> then I hit startgame <3> and it closes, and that's what's the console <4> genpaste.pengu.in isn't even working here <0> It isn't? shiznix, use Tor. http://serifos.eecs.harvard.edu/proxy/http://genpaste.pengu.in/pastes/show/306 <3> so is this a bug with the game then? <0> Yes, but in the game/source code/not a gentoo-specific f**kup <4> some major link down in Seattle it seems, means no genpaste.pengu.in <0> shiznix: again: http://serifos.eecs.harvard.edu/proxy/http://genpaste.pengu.in/pastes/show/306 <0> shiznix: http://serifos.eecs.harvard.edu/proxy/<YOUR FAVORITE PR0N HERE>
<4> xiando: that doesn't work, opens a blank text webpage <0> So you can't even get to http://serifos.eecs.harvard.edu/ ? <4> yes, that works <4> just not the proxy <0> wierd <0> http://serifos.eecs.harvard.edu/proxy/http://genpaste.pengu.in/pastes/show/306 should work if http://serifos.eecs.harvard.edu/ does <4> hold i'll check using Firefox, 1st time was Konq <4> nope, same deal :( <0> then just emerge tor privoxy <5> help <5> http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/distributions/gentoo/distfiles/openssh-lpk-4.3p1-0.3.7.patch <5> HTTP request sent, awaiting response... 416 Requested Range Not Satisfiable <5> !!! Are there any ports I need to set open in my iptables on the gateway? Because I'm having problems connecting.. I get "connected", but no more. error 10060 after a while. <6> it wont install without the patch? <5> jianwen: obvioulsy not :D <4> bitrot: delete /usr/portage/distfiles/openssh-lpk-4.3p1-0.3.7.patch* and try again <5> shiznix: I did:( <5> then it downloaded 3 of them again :( <6> user error <5> keeps downloading the /usr/portage/distfiles/openssh-lpk-4.3p1-0.3.7.patch 3 times then saying it couldn't download it O.o
<4> something fooed up with either emerge or wget then <5> and the patch is legit <5> i just did a cat on the file <5> has to be the ebuild <4> what version of openssh is this ? <5> disabling grsec to be sure <5> yep not grsec <6> openssh-lpk-4.3p1-0.3.7 looks like <5> [ebuild R ] net-misc/openssh-4.3_p2-r1 USE="ipv6 ldap pam sftplogging tcpd* -X509 -chroot -hpn -kerberos -libedit (-selinux*) -skey -smartcard -static" 0 k <5> B <6> o <5> going to sync again just to make sure <6> you use an ipv6 router? <5> no this box is going to have ipv6 on it <5> coverting my box from FreeBSD -> Gentoo Linux <5> er my server <8> why would you do that? <5> because I like the GNU userland more than the FreeBSD userland. <5> oh and i like using PGUP and PGDWN to go through my history for apps w/ bash in my terminal, I could never get that working in FreeBSD :( <8> from all that I've heard, the bsd kernel is better <5> ig88b: mmmm yes and no <5> PF for firewalls is awesome <5> except if you want Layer7 filtering PF doesn't offer that <5> the kernel for FreeBSD is nice don't get me wrong <8> that reminds me, I want to get qos working <4> bitrot: ebuild looks ok, but you could comment out or remove the 'ldap?' SRC_URI section of the ebuild <5> it's working now it seems <4> odd <5> hah sftplogging and ldap use flags don't like eachother :\ <5> yeah I synced again and now it's configuring <5> i'm going to enable grsec again <4> bitrot: you should file a bug <5> sure if I can do it again :p <5> nope seems to be fixed nwo <4> k <5> o well <5> odd how doing a rm on the files (even the openssh tarball) didn't help <5> but a resync cleared it right up <5> oh and it's not like that was the first packge of the world rebuild either <5> i had 47 packages build before the openssh pkg and it failed on that one only heh. <5> oh also ig88b portage > ports <5> the ports maintainers **** <5> and making an ebuild is sooooo easy compared to a **** *** Makefile for a port <5> oh plus it's GNU and everything runs GNU <7> I'm trying to connect to a ftp server with auth ssl, from my windows machine that is behind my gentoo gateway. Are there any ports I need to set open in my iptables on the gateway? Because I'm having problems connecting.. I get "connected", but no more. error 10060 after a while. <5> **** I even run GNU on my PPC G4 1.50GHz running OS X :) <5> Lapse: yep <5> SSL stands for Secure Socket Layer <7> Ah, so the client needs to open ports too. Ehm, what ports? :) <5> depends <5> grep SSL /etc/services <7> ah, 989 and 990 :) <5> Neat how you can use files on your distro to find info out ;p <5> **** <5> I just lost $499.99 <5> **** <7> Heh, too bad I'm not sure exactly what to add to my iptables :/ <5> me either I have't configured IPTables yet :p <5> I used to use Gentoo just for a desktop <5> but now I own a Mac :X <7> :( <5> well that's another reason i'm switching form FreeBSD -> Gentoo GNU Linux :p <5> FreeBSD kernel has nice security features too w/o the need of patches and what not too which I also am gonig to miss <5> but gentoo makes it easy with the hardened sources so I don't really mind. <9> User: adio Pasted http://pasteme.com/p.php?id=489 <10> getting that error when emergeing dsniff <10> java error <10> not sure why <10> i just updated my java too <5> does that file it's saying it is not finding exist? o.o <5> ls -la /usr/bin/javac <10> it does exist <5> did you run java-config ? <10> yea
