<13> the bootcamp stuff cant repartition if a lot of data is towards the end of the disk ... so it failed repeatedly
<13> turns out a lot of people with pretty full disks going into this had the same issues... the fix was to basically move the data to an external disk then dupe it back on, so it lays it out with all the free space at the end of the disk, where the xp partition goes
