<deadzone> once they got bigger i moved them to small cups till i got them to the fish store, before i had them in a small aquarium without filters or anything

<deadzone> and you can't get much money for them, since they only sell them for like $5 each

<JPres> usually they come from the store with their fins all shredded etc

<JPres> but this one was pretty, and looked healthy too
<deadzone> i wont put one in less than 2-3 gallons, they like to swim

<JPres> I don't know why my 5 gallon tank was killing them

<JPres> I got to thinking maybe they didn't like the moving water or someting

<JPres> well, I don't use test strips
<JPres> but you would think the betta would NOT be the first to go...
<JPres> in fact, I'd think it would be one of the last to die from a water quality issue
<deadzone> yea, they are native to puddles and adapt well
<deadzone> might be the moving water
<deadzone> lots of pages on breeding them on google, thats where i found out how to do it
