<0> ?
<1> outer mc it is in has scaling applied
<0> yeah
<0> it was already scaled
<1> so of course content within such mc, is 'scaled' as well :)
<0> OnoSendi: it's code 18 mate
<0> ie. the problem is sitting 18 inches from the screen
<0> getting angry at flash and saying all your problems must be bugs is like saying god was punishing new orleans
<0> illogical captain
<2> al_x: it help me relax
<2> blaming it on flash
<0> ;)
<0> won't get you any closer to fixing the problem though
<0> so blame the cat
<0> or something
<2> al_x: lol
<0> then
<0> get on with troubleshooting
<5> Heya, wheres a good place for downloadable loops and voice samples for free or to buy. Flashkit is good, but nothing I want
<0> loops just take a track you like and cut out a couple of bars
<0> observing copy right of course!
<0> ;)
<5> hehe
<5> so can I just use someones track on a web page as long as I put copyright info?
<0> depends if they stated so
<0> if not\
<0> no
<6> DO IT!
<7> Yooo Excuse me missssss

<7> :)
<5> Hmm yeah their record label has no web site, and their personal site isnt up..so I guess as long as I say copyright artist/label Ill be ok?
<8> is there any way I could use Flash to pull information from an external server or website (blog information) and display it on a different website?
<2> TerryBew: you gotta call and find out about that kinda stuff
<5> Hmm just wondering where to look as I cant find any info on the web
<9> hi, can anyone help? i have a movieclip which is supposed to load and display two buttons. In edit mode the buttons show, but when i test the movie, the buttons aren't displayed, anyone know why not?
<2> TerryBew: just steel everything and claim it as yours, you'll be okay
<5> lol
<5> Is there some kind of directory online?
<5> Its a UK company
<2> calll 911
<2> i mean 411
<5> :\
<5> lol
<5> Yes officer, its a dance tune
<5> *click*
<5> so 411 is international I thought it was only for local inquries
<9> anyone have any idea why i am getting this problem?
<2> its a uk company, theirs is?
<5> yeah uk :<
<2> **** it then, what're they gonna do try you in uk?
<2> haha I dunno how that stuff works
<5> ok np :>
<9> anyone? :(
<10> intervals are so friggen gay
<1> did one try to play with your bum?
<10> yes
<1> :o
<10> this is just frustrating
<10> i'm trying to control these bonus sliders
<10> they need to slide out for about 1 second then slide back in
<10> using setInterval is buggy as hell
<9> can anyone please help me? I've made a game where a title screen loads at the start with two buttons (easy/hard). When one is pressed the game loads and once the timer runs out, another screen loads with 2 more buttons (try again / hi-score). However for some reason, when i load the second screen, it doesn't display the buttons for "try-again" / "hi-score", anyone know why this could be?
<9> it's driving me up the wall and i just can't figure it out
<10> so i decided to use the bar object in the slider. i extended it's frames to the amount of time i felt necessary and then put a stop in the first frame, a play in the second, and then the command to slide back out in the last
<10> it works fine for one slider but not in another
<10> like wtf
<10> it's the exact same method, same object, but it just doesn't work right --;
