<0> if it's still a problem when I return I'll try to help <1> how basically do i tell flash to go threw with the animartion <1> http://pastebin.sekati.com/?id=Anonymous@63085-b760ace0-t <1> www.superpress.com/yoga/yoga.html <1> if i move the mouse too fast it doesnt play the unload animation <0> do you have any keyframes here <1> i have 2 frames <1> one with the animation load and unload <1> and one only with 1 keyframe in the begining ie. WORKSHOP <2> how woudl you do that effect in a 3d program? <2> look really cool <2> I use maya <0> the problem happens when you both roll in and out too fast.. which makes me think that while it's rolling on, it's rolling past a keyframe <1> yeah <1> :) <1> thats whats happening
<0> don't roll past a keyframe then ;) <1> hmmz <0> try putting the script on a invisible button hit area above the actual text instead of using the text itself as a hitare <0> hitarea <3> How can I cut a flash video so that I completely get rid of the top hal <3> *half <1> i have it on on invisible... around the text <0> you can import it into a new flash document and set the flash document size to the desired size and leave the portion of video you want to cut off-screen.. then export to an AVI uncompressed, then re-FLV <0> it's certainly going to have generational quality loss but if you don't have any video editing apps, it's one possible way <3> i have macromedia flash 9 pro <3> *8 <3> lol <0> wow I want 9 ;D <1> i have pro 12 <1> :) <1> hehehe <3> lol <1> it comes with Johnny Five <3> Is there a way to do it with pro 8? <0> I only have MX2004 8<, don't know if it supports any advanced FLV exporting options <4> NO DISSASEMBLE! <4> dis***emble* <5> johnny five alive! <0> lolz <4> he was all binged out at the end of the 2nd one <4> it was bitchen <4> bing bing bitches! <4> bling* <4> damnit <5> yeah that was hot, i should rent that <4> i love those movies <6> Hey <4> i should really shower :/ <5> hey vg <5> yeah smurf, you smell <4> i do <3> seriously though, does anyone know a way to cut off the top half of my video file on flash pro 8 <7> Dmlyum, is your video already a flv? <8> woop de woop <3> yes <7> Dmlyum, well I'm not sure you can preprocess it since I don't know of flv decoder (anyone?) but you could use a mask and hide the top half <5> agh, pixel fonts can kiss my *** <1> werd <7> Dmlyum, you need the original video to cut the top half truly <1> its working <1> :) <9> _quality = "LOW"; // pixel font standard <7> SHiZNiT, bah you don't need that <5> shiznit, it's weird, i tried checked the pixel fonts with quality low, they're still blurry <5> but everything is on the whole pixel <9> then its bitmap font <9> or <9> you are only looking at current <9> and not all the way up to topmost parent in hierarchy of item in question <9> not just 'current' <3> what do you mean by the original video? <9> but its parent <9> its parent parent <9> etc <9> all need to be 'exact' integers <9> and not centered
<9> and textfield cannot be 'centered' or anything other than left <5> shiz: yeah, i've looked through 10 or so levels <10> you might probably already know this <10> but what's the X and Y coordinates? are they on whole numbers? <7> livingeac, do you : export to flash 7 or later & have select the aliased text option in flash? <9> otherwise, you're throwing it to the wind <9> .. <9> if you use _quality ="LOW" and you still have error - its font error <9> like a's and b's, p's etc filling in <9> thats not flash - thats the font <9> its bitmap not pixel <5> that's weird, it's frucade medium... i think its FFF <5> i tried some other pixelfonts though <5> ones i've used before <9> you have it 'bolded' or anything? <9> hehe <5> haha, naw <5> its the weirdest thing <11> major motion picture studio looking for talented flasher (Full Time, Los Angeles) <- pm me if your interested with portfolio <9> well something is out of whack <9> all mc's/containers are topleft orientation? <3> it is in FLA format... can I cut off the top part? <5> to the best of my knowledge... i'm going to quintuple check though <9> well, doesnt really matter - if LOW doesnt clear it up - its a font problem <9> or its not embedded <9> lol <7> Dmlyum, told ya, you can hide it, sort of cut it but it'll still be there internally which will show in file size <5> haha, that'd be wack <5> lemme try one last thing <5> and then its the fetal position for me <3> hmmm... okay... so there is no way to just have the bottom part <5> haha, love me some ST <9> :)) <5> we used to cover how can i laugh tomorrow? in my first band <9> listenin to join the army right now heh <9> nice <9> just listened to that too <9> heh <5> nice <9> good ole'stuff :) <5> that was over ten years ago we played that <9> i got a story to tell, so listen up real well.... <5> and its a lot older than that <5> haha <7> Dmlyum, not without reencoding it. You need the original video file. Be it mpg, avi, mov or whatevere <9> so many memories of sui :) <3> it was orginally created in flash... it's not a movie or something... it's a flash file <3> it's a flash header thing <9> anyways - got some user reports to generate - bbiaw ... if fonts a problem - post it, msg url, i'll check it the actual font <7> Dmlyum err "seriously though, does anyone know a way to cut off the top half of my video file on flash pro 8" <12> anyone know why when i copy some mc from project that is placed on _root and i put it to mc1.mc2.mc3.here the mc i copy change size ? <7> Dmlyum, so it's just a vector animation? <5> sounds like fun <5> i'll let you know <5> thanks! <12> the w and h is the same but he is changeing size somehow <9> dmlyum - because the container it was in was scaled <3> I guess so... (I'm not sure how what you mean by verctor animation) <7> Dmlyum, well and I just have no idea what you mean at all :) <3> Basically, I have this flash header... I want to get rid of the top 25-50px or so making it smaller (in size and filesize) <5> so strange <5> this is so lame <5> none of these pixel fonts are working, everything is on the whole pixel, left top registed, left justified <5> im using this same font in another place and it's fine. <5> POOP <7> Dmlyum, it's dependent on the specific animation, how you use symbols and so on. You can do it automatically. You can cut the stage half in height and bump the content so it looks like you want, but it won't help with fiesize <7> Dmlyum, you gotta give it to someone to work it out <7> Dmlyum, someone who knows Flash well <7> Dmlyum, up there I mean you can NOT do it auto, sorry <4> KOm4 crawlspace is a good tune from that album :)
