<SHiZNiT> if the text is embedded - or if you're using player 6,0,79,0 or later, and using .setMask method ... otherwise no, i dont believe so .. if you visually mask a layer, i believe ya need to embed the font - maybe new textfield options avoid such, but i somehow doubt it
