<0> can i get flash to send ip adress to a php file ? <1> i've got 2 scrollpane components, i use the attachMovie function to include movieclips in the scrollpane, the clip i'm calling is in an external .swf file. This .swf file get's imported simply by defining the correct linkage at authoring time. The first time i attach something the included clips aren't fully visible. I'm not sure if this is a loading issue or a bug <1> i'll paste a screenshot <1> http://www.ldghebe.nl/dtavision/screenshot.jpg <2> umm <2> is it possibly a mask? <2> and how big is the container you load the swf into? <1> the container is a little big bigger than the red squares <3> karl o/ <4> yo <3> how r ya? <4> better than ezra <3> hows ezra these days? <4> she doing just fine <3> nice <5> anyone know a nice toturial that will explain doing a scroller for loaded txt ?
<5> in to dynamic text field <5> !google dynamic text scroller <6> http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex2/ <5> !google flash dynamic text scroller <6> http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx/textscroller.htm <4> !google flash scrollbar tutorial <6> http://www.tutorialized.com/tutorial/Simple-Scrollbar/3097 <4> doesn't really matter if its loaded or not, and all scrollbars are on dynamic textfields anyway <5> yea mjau-mjau but i need it for a loading txt <4> a scrollbar for loading text ... <4> dunno what you mean <4> after its loaded, you put it in textfield <4> preferably a textfield with a scrollbar attached <5> i will be loading a text to a dynamic text field and when the text is too mutch to fit in the text field the scroller shows up <4> why not use the standard scrollbar component <4> yes <5> standard scrollbar don't work for loaded text <4> just us a scrollbar, it will use the standard disabled(greyed out) if text is not overflow, and it will enable if text overflow <4> if you want to hide it completely if text is not overflow, simply make a small listener function that toggles visible of scrollbar component if text overflow <4> standard scrollbar works for loaded text <4> there is nothing called 'loaded text' <4> after its loaded into flash, its text like any other text <5> ok i will check the scrollbar but i will tell you it will not work w8 <7> lol <7> it won't work! <7> have some positivity <3> lo nik <4> it will <4> because once the text is loaded, you have var = "your loaded text here" <4> thats the same as saying the scrollbars don't work for dynamic text <7> DJLy5y fact is . it DOES work. we all do it .. every day. <7> it's you that isn't working :) <8> wack off? <8> his wacker is broken!! <8> burn! <5> www.psk.net/nothing/scroller.fla and www.psk.net/nothing/scroller.txt <5> mjau-mjau it's not working ! <8> dont tell mjau-mjau what is and isnt workin, he one of the elders in this chan! he's wise... <5> when you download scroller.txt change it to news.txt <5> ok i wait for him to check the fla <5> i used the standrad mx scollbar compnent <5> Flash mx ui component <5> and loading the text by as loadVariablesNum(("news.txt"), 0); <5> and setting scrollbar on the stage attached to the dynamic text field is not working . <7> some good audioslave on my radio station <5> sorry mjau-mjau but dunno why it won't work for me the text loads but the scroll bar don't scroll the text. <9> all of which are american dreams <10> hi friends <5> hello movAX13h <10> hi dj <11> have any of you ever seen flash embedded in an email? <10> no <9> yeah - but working 100% on all email clients is another story <10> you can not even guarantee that jpg or png are supported by every client <9> true enough <12> bleh <9> blah! <12> meh <10> pah! <9> bleh from drawn together? <9> heh
<12> i need to call a bunch of salvage yards <9> i knew it - merz eats bolts and motor oil for breakfast! <12> shhh! <12> don't tell everyone <10> cool merz <10> i wonder how it tastes... <10> oily i guess. <12> it takes like freshly baked babies <13> is there an easy way to change the colors 2.0 components use? <13> they are all green right now, but I want them to be blue <9> instance.setStyle("themeColor", "haloBlue"); <9> or set for stylemanager <12> click your heels three times while saying "there's no place like blue" <9> you can set your own colors as well - just lookup styles/stylemanager <9> set a specific color, all components will be based off that color <9> http://livedocs.macromedia.com/flash/8/main/00002995.html <9> can start your reading there <13> I use the builtin help more <13> but thanks for the pointer to setStyle, I found _global.style.setStyle("themeColor", "haloBlue") <9> yup <9> thats what you want for all <9> so you dont have to set each one <9> =) <13> now I just need to find all the styles, haloBlue is too cyan, I want something more of a greyish blue <13> I've also been getting a linkage warning now after trying some third party mxps <13> how can I flush this message: **Warning** The linkage identifier 'tab_pane_mc' was already ***igned to the symbol 'Tabbed Pane', and cannot be ***igned to the symbol 'Tab_component', since linkage identifiers must be unique. <9> so take out haloBlue <9> and put ,0x990000 as example <9> :/ <9> _global.style.setStyle("themeColor", 0x990000) <13> isn't that red? <9> sure <9> but i dont know what grey/blue you want <9> i'm sure you can change that <9> i have much confidence in ya <9> =) <13> ok, just making sure flash didn't use some magical BGR format or something :) <9> untill proven otherwise <9> heh <2> http://www.glumbert.com/media/eyefi.html <2> check this one out :d <9> not that i'm aware of with this issue - but i hear ya <9> :) <2> :d <12> "the only thing that all women have in common is that they are all different" XD <2> hahahaha <12> s/different/insane <12> ^^ <9> lol I GOT TWO! <9> haha <2> haha yeah <2> "Can I use my EyeFi to shop online, read my e-mail and get the latest news?" <2> "Suuuuuuuuure... Probably?" <2> :D <10> haha <10> i want eyeFi please <5> !google dynamic text scrollbar <6> http://www.brajeshwar.com/downloads/flashmx/dynamictextscroll/ <7> guys <7> is it nextHighestDepth? <7> how's it worded? <9> getNext.. <7> getNext what <7> getNextHighestDepth? <9> getNextHighestDepth <9> yes <7> doesn't turn blue <7> :) <12> getLaid() <9> keep holding breath <9> :)
