<7> Hi, I've got 2 usb-storage devices that I've setup a raid-1 config with mdadm, I tried to fail one of the discs on purpose and it worked fine, but now when I'm going to resync the discs mdadm wants to resync the whole array and not just the blocks that wrong, is there some way to fix this, it takes like 3 hours to resync the discs 20MB/sec with 250 GB discs...

<12> Hi Guys.. I have something weird going on with my networking - I hope someone can help. I have an ip alias on eth0.. When I connect to the ip alias (using NTP), the box is sending its response back from the main ip of the eth0 device, not the aliased ip it received the request from? Any ideas why this would be or how to fix?
