<1> k thanks. brb!
<1> I tried it and it did not work
<0> haha k

<1> thaks for helping Stovokor

<2> yum update always nags about some packages
<3> In other words, if you want SQLite back in PHP5 on FC4, bug Joe.
<4> Anyone having luck running wine happily on FC4? Or even w/ World of Warcraft? Specifically, should Prelinking be disabled on a stock Wine install?
<3> is there another way to set sqlite on with PHP 5.0.4?
<2> how do i resolve yum conflicts?
<2> or at least install APT
<5> i'm trying to dual boot windows xp and fc4 using ntldr. i have a hdd for fc4 on my primary pata channel and a hdd for windows xp on sata. the fc4 hdd is /dev/hda and windows xp is /dev/sda. im trying to use bootpart to add fc4 to my ntldr boot.ini but when i try to select linux it just goes right back to ntldr menu screen. i've tried installing grub on the mbr of /dev/hda and also /dev/hda1. what could be wrong?
<2> please, anybody know how to fix yum dependencies?
<6> hi
<6> i wonder if there is a efault ldap gui in fedora
<6> default
<7> hi, id like to know whether fc4 has the lame codec installed already or should i install it myself later?
<7> anybody can help?
<8> skysong: i doubt it
<8> mp3 support was killed.
<7> damn
<7> does it support divx?
<7> cuz u know im new to linux, so i wont be able to install things that easily
<8> well you can install it all after the fact
<6> u can install a package of the net of xmms
<8> sure xmms-mp3 is the name of the mp3 support package
<6> that helps, since redhat doesn't like the mp3
<7> oh
<7> i tried playing divx on suse 9.0
<6> there is a rpm package ready
<7> didnt work
<7> it didnt even detect one of my hdd, though a dynamic ntfs
<6> did u mount it?
<7> when i tried to it said too many mounted device
<7> it already mounted my windows partition
<6> u have to create the folder in /mnt/ then mount /dev/hda0
<6> maybe there is a codec problem after all
<7> does it usually detect dynamic partitions?
<6> what is media player u got, i need one
<6> it does but not automatic mounting
<7> i tried to install media player and vlc as well
<7> dunno what lib was missing
<6> i tried vlc
<6> but missing libs that i could not find
<6> mplayer does give u the needed resources
<7> got the same problems with mplayer
<6> did u try installing xmms with YUM?
<6> just wanted to warn that it doesnt work
<7> i never used fc
<6> what u got
<7> thats why i came here before
<7> cuz i want to have it installed
<7> suse doesnt work fine here

<8> but i guess thats a good thing .. ?
<8> :x
<8> heh
<6> k12ltsp
<6> it works better for me than the fc4 stand alone
<0> znx yeah
<6> what about xine as a player
<8> i find that mplayer handles all my needs
<6> how u got it to work?
<0> he installed it ?
<0> lol
<6> lol
<8> andy__: well its covers most of the codecs etc.. you just need to install them :)
<6> but about the codecs
<8> win32codecs .. installed into /usr/lib/win32 .. takes care of the majority ;)
<8> its a manual install no package
<0> win32
<0> puke
<8> heh
<0> lol
<6> u need win32 as much as i hate it
<7> znx u didnt lack any lib when installing the mplayer?

<0> that looks ugly
<6> what?
<6> cracked on u
<0> looks like a crappy copy of winblows media player
<6> hahaha
<6> znx: im installing the mplayer from the cvs
<6> alot of warnings
<6> znx: do i have to get the libavcodec first by chance?
<8> codecs and libs in first... mplayer in last
<6> oops
<6> i get this strange error when copying
<6> cp: omitting directory 'libavcodec'
<0> thats not strange
<6> it happenes with all folder copying that i do
<8> andy__: you cant copy a dir.. without the -r option
<0> you forgot -r
