The common problem with custom built kernels is that one forgets to build and install kernel-headers package. So please remember when compiling your kernel to use: <19> i dont have to compile my kernel do i? <8> Napta: <9> winjunkie: no <19> so that step isnt needed for me, since everything is stock? <9> apt-get install kernel-headers-`uname -r` <19> do i have to do that? <9> propably <19> ok, i'l try it out all the other steps 1st <4> gravitron, if it's failing it could be due to your computer having bad ram, or the source you're downloading from having a corrupted file, or the md5sum file you're checking against being incorrect. I suggest trying to download from another source <16> doubt its bad ram, source might be corrupted (which is why I'm asking) <20> have you guys seen the exim changelog in the snapshot? <20> PH/25 Exim was not testing for a space following SMTP commands such as EHLO <20> hehe :) <20> all the way back to exim 0.12 ;) <8> hehe <8> and noone discovered that until recently? <20> yup. <20> fix will be in 4.63 :) <8> hehe <4> crazy <4> there's scripts and apps to check for that type of error <4> you can make your own testing cl***es <4> silly :P <21> hey check my new page if you are looking for Playstation ROMs or J-Pop Music http://dfa.aerohostale.com/ - free FTP server access 80+ GB <22> hmm <22> fun cleaning in preperation of moving <22> found a floppy station with a woody boot floppy still in it... <9> gg <9> i love the words: "this should be done today" <22> haha <9> "do you have any plans for tonight?" <23> should is the key word <22> I should be cleaning and whatever right now <23> should have told you "this must be done today" <9> in these cases "should be" means "is" <9> its like <9> "this should be done today" *see your bonus flying out of the window if it isnt* <22> "the sun should rise in the morning" <22> god... spamming is getting ridiculous <22> Build your own communication satellite now for $8.25. <22> I bet you get a free shuttle launch to place it into orbit if you order TODAY! <9> hmm <9> greylisting helped my spamcount <9> spamcunt <24> LMAO
