<0> 01:10 < Jackt> -rw-r--r-- <0> 01:11 <@ Napta> thats why <0> sorry, I'm bipolar <0> actually err, make that 600* <1> ok <1> That worked but I am going temporary authenication failer from module authdaemon <0> pardon ? <1> when I type courierauthtest username p***word <0> Well my little mexican friend <0> I beleive it is time for you to do your own research <0> the answer to your first problem could be found in the manpage for the mkuserdb <0> and on google <0> and by just reading the error message <0> yet you ignored all of that <0> I'm sure google will answer your second problem in under 5 minutes :) <1> I am having working on this for the past three days.
<0> well <0> Have you consulted google? <1> yep <1> Let me check one more thing <1> Shoot <0> sql server not running? <1> Imap is working when I type the command above but when I try and log on to squirrelmail I am a different error <0> Well I'm going to bed. Best of luck to you with your imap problem :) <0> remember google IS your friend, including http://groups.google.com <2> Anyone here use airodump-ng ? How come it doesnt have the IVs column? <3> ah good boy Jackt using courier <1> yep <4> Keyman ive used it a lot <4> is your card in Monitor mode ? <4> iwconfig iface mode Monitor <4> or if your using linux-wlan-ng its different <4> like wlan-ngctl iface ifmode something <4> lol <4> cant remember <5> why would a 32bit Sarge box keep locking up when I try to read a filesystem? <5> removing it gives me i/o error. e2fsck -y on the umounted system freezes the box. <0> bad disk ? <5> I can log in via console but not ssh. <5> it's RAID1 <5> can't be a bad disk. its RAID1 on sda2 and sdb2 <5> . / is RAID1 on sda1 and sdb1 <5> and the system works fine until I muck around with the RAID1 array's files. <5> why would I be able to log in via console but not via ssh? <0> "I/O error" and crashes relating to accessing files seems to point at your disk, controller, driver issue.. whacky raid config, somewhere along that line. <0> I've seen that happen with a bad disk <5> interesting. ok. <0> It could also be bad memory. but I'm betting on a disk / controller related issue <0> Are you running a stable kernel? has this problem just happened? <0> etc etc <5> found the problem. part of sdb has gone haywire. <5> 32bit Sarge box <5> yes, stable. (that's for nagual) <0> is that the technical term ? <5> errors fly across the screen at a pace to fast to read! <5> you have a technical term for that? :P <5> it boots, and when the second RAID forms, things go awry. <5> too fast to read. <0> perhaps its a PEBKAC fault <5> what's that? <6> !bugs erp <0> quite complicated <0> I'll explain another time. night :) <5> right-o. nighty-night <1> Question how do you point imap to the mbox file that resides in the users home directory? <2> tekk you still around? <1> I am lost <7> Hello, I have a debian router, running stable. It has 2 ppp connections to the internet. The first DSL modem is hooked to eth0 and uses ppp0, with static ip's. My local network interface is eth1, and the second dsl line is hooked to eth2/ppp1. I do not want to load balance these. I want to set it up so that the current lan address of the router (10.0.0.1) is used by most of the lan clients, to get to the net via ppp0/eth0. The second LAN address, 10.1.1.2, will b <7> to the net via ppp1/eth2 <1> This imap stuff is crazy <8> i would tell you how to do it cleb, but you would have to fed-ex me one of your eyes as a reward <8> so as i can and it to my collection <8> looks like you just need some routing rules set up <7> yeah <7> its a mess :/ <7> I tried load balancing but that fooked everything
<8> load balancing is so easy it's not funny, bring up a bonding device, slave the ethernet devices to it, finish <8> there's basic load balancing <8> two commands <8> have to go to gf's, bbl <7> heh, I can do that for local lan wicked easy, but for 2 internet links, from different providers, etc, it gets a little more fun <9> you can just script it out <9> machines on the local side of the NAT would most likely drop a few packets (depending on how well you script it) <7> tchang: Any info on where to start? <9> write down your requirements <9> like downtime must be limited to X minutes <9> actually that's about all you need to know <9> check out heartbeat <9> linux-ha.org <7> Yeah, its not exactly high avail. I need, I just would like to use both connections, by being able to set the clients default gateway as 10.0.0.1 or 10.0.0.2, and depending on that, it will use the slow or fast dsl connection <10> they banned me from #nanog <11> omg <10> who here used a lantronix terminal server? <12> poll? <6> Don't ask questions/polls like "Does anyone use X" or "Has anyone got Y", noone will answer you... ask a question directly related to your problem with a good amount of information, see 'smart questions' <10> ahh, yes <10> then does anyone know if the cisco adsl wic is crap? <11> narutofan: <11> no <11> Napta: <12> oh man <12> the pray demo is sooo nice <12> now its going to be a laaate night <12> hope it comes soon, i will take a day off <11> Napta: http://todellisuus.net/~mikko/enterprise/setup.exe <11> theres your enterprise dotnet web 2.0 <13> hello <12> oh man the prey demo is so good <12> hey Vicky17 <12> are you a girl or a cop? <14> f*ck : pastebin is overloaded... <14> do you know an other place ? <11> pastebin? <6> Don't paste into channel. Use http://www.pastebin.com instead, or pasting to pastebin from console: curl -F "code2=<somefile.txt" -F poster=YourNickHere -F format=No -F paste=Send http://pastebin.com/pastebin.php 2>/dev/null |grep -E href.*YourNickHere <14> I'm trying to setup a Dlink DWL-610 wifi card, follwing this tutorial : http://www.canit.se/~oli/wl/ <14> compiles fine, then when I try to insmod the compiled module, I get this en kern.log : <14> http://paste.uni.cc/9334 <14> any idea ? <14> oh great : it then sys the module is "initializing", but I can't remove it :( <14> says^^ <15> Is my understanding of ttys corrent when I say that I dont need any tty if I only want to use ssh to interact with the machine? ttys are the different "screens" accessed by alt+f1, alt+f2 and so on on the physical console... <8> correct Oern <1> Why does imap read the individual mail files that is located in the /var/mail directory? <0> are you still here! <0> tell me you have slept <1> I have slept and this becomming a big problem. <1> Should imap read the /var/mail directory? <8> are you using courier? <8> if so, read the god damn documentation, you've been bitching and moaning for hours... no... days, spend a few hours researching, we are not your one-stop-shop answer service. If you don't know how to research, learn... google, go http://www.courier-mta.org/ . See mailing lists <8> dear god <16> yeah I am a noob and got courier-imap pop and postfix up and running in a matter of hours... ;P <16> It really isn't hard at all once you figure out the whole maildir thing <0> gah I hate centos <8> god, i hate irix <1> They made it way to hard to seup <1> setup <17> too <1> I do programming is that not hard to write these programs <8> lol <17> is that a question? <8> you're obviously an idiot, i'm sorry, but you must be <16> really... <0> why don't you just write your own <0> You could probably write an imapd inside of a day <1> There is no money it for me. <0> and you've already spent 3 days working on it
