<1> Bodach, you may have to use the -zoom and or -fs options
<2> GiftdKook: I've tried both of those. With GL it sets the aspect ratio properly, with XV it appears to only zoom/full screen maybe one section of the frame.
<1> sorry, no further ideas
<2> Thank you though for trying.

<18> how can i kill all processes by a user?
<13> hello
<17> slay
<13> bemonkey, use pgrep
<17> apt-cache show slay

<18> k, thx
<17> Description: Kills all of the user's processes
<13> or use kill -9 `pgrep -u user`
<13> bemonkey, or use kill -9 `pgrep -u user`
<13> no need for extra packages
<18> k
<13> or are there rza?
<19> whowatch is great too
<19> for the 'ps visually impaired'
<13> lol
<13> music for the def sort of?
<13> senses for the numb.
<19> haha, either that or for people can cannot make heads or tails of ps output
<19> and don't know -ef or -AH or the like
<13> souljah, whowatch -- because people dont want to use 'watch who'
<18> @avtobiff: thx, pgrep -u did it
<13> bemonkey, np
<19> avtobiff: it gives you the ctrl +k kill option
<19> which is why I suggested it
<13> ok
<19> no easier way to blow away a users
<19> user
<19> :)
<13> i sort of knew that whowatch had some more functionality to it than just "watch who"
<19> give it a shot sometime
<19> you'll love it
<13> :-D
<18> how do i list the processes which use the most ram?
<20> top
<20> m
<18> ah, k, thx
<0> hm
<21> hello, im trying to get php5 running with apache. i've installed both with apt-get, but when i try to execute a php file through the web it just spits out the code, and doesn't actually run it. any ideas? am i missing a mime type setting somewhere?
<20> hi :)
<20> and yes ;)
<21> hey prefect.
<20> AddType application/x-httpd-php .php
<20> AddType application/x-httpd-php-source .phps
<21> in httpd.conf?
<20> yep
<21> thanks.
<21> lemme try that
<0> dj-trix: do you have LoadModule php4_module /usr/lib/apache/1.3/libphp4.so on /etc/apache/modules.conf?
<21> no
<21> LoadModule php5_module /usr/lib/apache/1.3/libphp5.so
<21> prefect, then restart apache?
<20> lways
<21> is there a better way of restarting it than: killall apache & apache?
<13> dj-trix, and set the right permissions on the php script
<13> dj-trix, /etc/init.d/apache restart
<13> or apache2 or whatever
<21> thanks
<0> apachectl restart
<0> do your homework
<13> me?
<13> http://www.google.com/search?q=debian%20way%20restart%20apache
<13> ;-)
<0> avtobiff:
<0> can you check an email for me in a couple of mins?
<0> if its -well- written?
<13> sure
<21> well i added those types, and fixed permissions, still wont run the script
<21> i did perms 755
<21> i cant even seem to execute the script from the commandline either. using php scriptname.php
<21> so perhaps the problem is bigger than an apache setting?
<0> avtobiff: msg
<19> dj-trix: are you root?
<19> you cannot bind to a port under 1024 without being root
<21> i figured it out. stupid mistake. thanks for your help guys!
<13> what was the mistake?
<13> dj-trix, what was the mistake?
<21> error in my php file.
<0> thanks avtobiff
