Have a good night/morning. <0> btw Spfy where are you from? <0> a/s/l? <2> Springfield, Missouri. :) <2> 26 Male <1> hey close to where I did basic :) <0> oh barts hometime <0> town <2> lol <0> ok have a good one <1> 35/m/Div <2> I'm close to branson. :) <1> Spfy: Ft. LeonardWood <2> Cool. :) <1> err there was supposed to be a space before Wood <2> I took basic in the great lakes. <1> squid <0> a space containing foreplay <2> data systems tech <2> navy <1> like i thought.. SQUID! <1> nagual: mmm foreplay <1> anyways. I'm done for the night. couple more .cs files to finish off then off to bed <1> will take most of the night to compile this **** anyways
<2> most of the night? <2> Compile it on my quad xeon :P <1> hehe it's a huge program <1> it a windows machine? <2> Hostname: Xeon - OS: Linux 2.6.17.6-cks1-hrt-dyntick5-grsec-Xeon/i686 - Distro: Debian 4.1 - CPU: 4 x Intel(R) Xeon(TM) (2658.251 MHz) - Processes: 169 - Uptime: 49d 15h 36m - Users: 2 - Load Average: 0.10 - Memory Usage: 368.62MB/2021.30MB (18.24%) <2> nope <1> ahh linux <1> this is a huge *** windows program written in C# <2> Ahh. :P <1> this is a release build so I'm also running test setups and regressions <2> You work with Microsoft Visual Studio? <1> for Cricket <1> ohh yeahhh :) <1> <3 vs.net 2k5 te <2> hahaha VB Sendkey! <2> :P <1> i don't do a damn thing in VB :) <2> its too simple <2> :P <1> well other than convert to C# :) <1> true <2> maybe another aohell perhaps <2> LOL <1> hahahaha <1> owl to the rescue! :) <1> this is for a program to convert phones of other providers to cricket services <2> nice <1> but the db calls are ****in HUGE <2> Yeah, I bet they are. :\ <1> it goes out, checks WHO the phnone is from, compares their SID with our SID, records the ESID in our databank, and then reprograms the phone AND configures their account <1> with the main headquarters <1> lots to go wrong <2> Sounds like alot of money to be made. :P <1> even does the test pages <1> hehe reprogs definitely make money :) <1> though I never did like serial programming. USB is more 'fun' <2> hehe <2> Cool. :) <2> I gotta get some sleep I'll catch you later ok? <1> later <2> Night. :) <1> thought you'd left already when you hadn't answered :) <1> GO SLEEP <2> Nah, I'm not that rude. :P <1> hehehe <2> I'm just having a hard tiem reading the screen. :P <2> time <2> see <2> I can't even type anymore. :\ <1> sleep L:) <2> lol <2> ok bye bye <1> i'm yawning like a madman over here <1> and with that I'm gonna crash <3> I am missing a lot of "files" in my /dev/ directorym for example the directory input/ How can I recreate all missing dev entries without doing it manually <3> _ <3> ? <4> man MAKEDEV <3> I didnt know it was possible to create all devs with makedev (for example the input directory( <4> ya can use udev to create devices on the fly... <4> several ways to do it <3> maybe i already have udev, i am using latest unstable debian <3> and 2.6 kernel <4> dpkg -l <3> Hm, yeah i have udev. But it does not create the input/mice device <3> The funny thing is that when I tail -f /var/log/syslog it looks like it finds the mouse just fine <3> !udev <3> !dpkg udev <3> noone have any idea what might be wrong? <3> another clue to the pussle; lsusb doesnt show the device, even though sysloc contain info which suggests it knows about the unit (and even the model - intellimouse) <3> syslog even <3> weird, after restarting udev and usbmgr it works <3> but I have tried to renboot the computer many times <3> ..and suddenly my soundcard works too. ..magic. And i bet it wont work after reboot :)
