<0> KutuluMik, c++ is like that as well <1> ;) <2> hi. how would i search for a sequence of elements in an array?
<2> IndexOf searches just for a single element. do I have to write my own function? <3> Yes. <4> wow the observer pattern is exactly what I was looking for <4> I think god made the observer pattern on the second day <3> heh <3> Who here ever wrote or used a semaphore on .NET? <4> semaphore? <3> Yep. <3> almost like a mutex. <4> is that like code access security built already into .net? <3> no
<3> It's more like a lock () {} <3> but it supports multiple at once <4> huh that sounds intersting <4> i think i'll be using the observer pattern for every single project from now on. <0> what about the create-bugs-to-increase-job-security pattern? <4> oh yea <4> im not good enough to implement that yet :) <0> if your not good enough, then you should doing it automatically! :) <4> quite in here today <4> pop quiz: virtual vs. static <4> I have a control on a form. I created a delegate on the form and an even in the control using the observer pattern. the delegate is pointing to a third forms method by using parentform.thirdform.thirdformMethod() becuase the third form is instatiated on the main form (parent form) and the form that holds the control that throws the event knows nothing about the third form. Is all this bad design or is it ok?
