<15> SO, I ran a drive 'scrub' program to scrub free space on my hard drive.. It put such an intensive load on my HD that after rebooting I got a drive read error... I did some surface analysis and it has tons of bad secotrs spread out acrossed the drive...I need to recover the data.
<15> I'm thinking the head mechanism or something went bad... My idea is to buy an identical drive and swap out the mechanisms or electronics to try and get it to work long enough to get my data.
