<moisture> This box I have seems to have a ****ed up FAN.the Fan seems to go faster than usual and is pretty loud. i connect the same Fan to another box and it works fine. any suggesions?

<Akuma> moisture: Or the motherboard has its own preset how fast the fans should run
<Akuma> You could adjust that through some software, eithe rin BIOS or some motherboard drivers that should have come with the motherboard
<Akuma> There's an ammount of specific voltage that FAN should run on. If you set it too high or low effect then the fan will usually run faster thus generating more noise.
<Clocker> if you check your bios, that'll tell you if you hooked it to the right connector as well

<Clocker> other fans are only 5V but you're hooking it to a 12V outlet
