<0> Oh, you haven't even started on the Tanaris quests yet =P <0> More will open up in a couple levels <1> Well, I don't have anymore there. <1> I like the travel in tanaris. <0> Tanaris should take you to 45-46 easily. <1> Everything is close together. <0> Yea, Tanaris aint too bad.. Imagine Gadgetzan in a more central location in Tanaris, then imagine the locations you need to go for quests cut in half.. that's what it's like in outland <1> I guess I will just do the STV quests until they are done, or until I am level 42 - 43 then go back. <0> and quest logs usually always tell you where to go and how to get there. <1> I should just respec now. I was going to wait until 60 though. <0> which was rare for the old quests <1> I want to go pure destruction for raw dps. <0> "Go to STV and find a shadow panther and kill it." Okay umm, STV is huge, can you like, narrow that down a bit? <1> I have one now that says "Go collect 15 troll scalps. They are in a troll camp in STV" <1> The problem is, I have no ****ing idea where, lol. I will need to thottbot that. <0> Yeah, like you're suppose to just know where the troll camp is
<1> I wish quests would just give you X,Y coords. <0> Outland quests are like, "Go about 400 paces straight east until you reach X landmark and then it should be to your west about 10 paces" <1> So, BC content is a lot more fun you think? <1> I think the new high-end instances would be a blast. <0> The least detailed directions are like, "Their camp is to the far, far southwest of here.", so at the very least, you know which direction to go <0> You know some of those quests, where you have to reach like 4-5 destinations to accomplish the quest? Well, there was this one I just did... It took me in a bird and showed me where I needed to go, lol. <1> lol. <1> Why don't you play your mage anymore? <0> Boring <1> Give him to me then, lol. <0> I feel to vulnerable to shadow priests/warlocks and shamans. <0> They eat me up <0> Makes the game not fun when half the cl***es can own you <1> Yeah. Mages are no challenge, unless they have the best possible gear. <1> Even then they walk away crying. <1> My lock can easily call out fel and beat even the best mage down. <0> Yea, against evenly geared warlocks or something, even if I win, I'm pretty close to death and need to be able to eat food immediately. <1> Since they are silenced and can't cast crap, lol. <0> That, and the insanely heavy dots and fears... can't do a fooking thing. <1> I'm only 40, so my **** is still weak. <0> Warlocks always owned me. <1> Mostly because I still have gear for a mid 20. <0> Even if I manage to counterspell your shadow school (silence) for 10 seconds.. whoopdie fricking do <1> I really want to revamp all of my gear soon. <0> If I were fire spec'd, I have to wait 8 seconds for pyroblast.. <0> hehe <1> Yeah, if you do get a counter off, I could easily put you to sleep for 15 seconds after. <0> My 62 hunter is still wearing a level 29 cape.. <1> So that sort of defeats that purpose. <1> You just waste mana. <1> Hunters own my lock a lot. <0> though I just picked up a quest to get me a nice backpeice that gives +30 stam and some attack power <1> They are hard for me to kill. <1> The pets hit hard, they hit hard and often the pet alone can stun lock me. <0> I have yet to meet any cl*** I have trouble with.. druids might be my bane since they can put my pet to sleep <0> Beastmastery hunters get a 3 second stun <0> Plus fear immunity for 18 seconds <0> Eats warlocks right up <1> I think I will overcome the hunters when I am really geared for PVP and respec. <0> No you won't. =P <0> BM hunters rule the caster cl***es. <0> Marksmanship hunters, you'll eat them up <0> and everyone is marksman <1> Well, to be honest, a dest lock does not even really use fear. <0> AIMED SHOT, ZOMG <1> A good dest lock will use succy to put the target to sleep for 15 seconds and cast off the long wait dest spells. <1> With those off, the instants come off and nearly no one can survive that dest chain. <0> I don't know much about warlock talents.. I should make one. <1> If they do, you can pop off a few DoTs and m*** heal yourself with an instant cast spell. <1> Well, a good dest lock can hit for 4k with one SB. <0> Or sacrifice your pet, gain a bubble and heal :P <1> At 60 a decent dest lock with half good PVP gear can hit for 4k in one attack. <1> Plus the SB cast time goes down a bit. <0> At 58, you'll have sweet gear. <1> Even BM hunters can fall to that. <0> I remember my hunter when it was 58, I pwned a 66 warlock. <0> Course, I nearly died bu <0> but* <1> It isn't really of matter what cl*** you play. It is only a matter of skill. A good hunter can beat nearly anyone. <0> He couldn't cast anything, and I kept his felguard ice trapped <1> Just like a good lock could too. But a skilled player vs skilled player is anyones game.
<0> well, hunters are definately an easier cl*** to be good at. :P <1> Yeah. Locks are the most complex cl*** in WoW. <1> Every other cl*** is so much easier to master. <0> Nah, warriors are. High level warriors have SO MUCH button pushing to do to be halfway decent <0> Warriors are a **** ton of work. <0> Plus they gotta time **** to deal w/ rage and such <1> I'll give you that. <1> Locks come second, then. <0> yeah <1> But most warriors are owned in PVP, lol. <1> They are too easy to kite. <0> But warriors do get bull**** execute which, wipes out the last 25% of your health.. so really they only have to kill you 75% of the way if they have full rage by then.. *execute* <1> Before I quit WoW, I would like to have my lock at 70, a hunter in BC and shaman in BC. <0> yeah, warriors take it in the *** from most casters <1> The hunter should be the easiest, because I heard they are so easy to level. <0> yeah, they are <1> Because of the sheer length of life they have. <0> Their HP actually isn't all that great, it's just that the pets make great distractions while you unload on dps <1> Yeah, plus their pets can hold aggro well. <1> Unlike my pets which don't. <0> Sorta.. There's a few spots where you'll just do way too much damage no matter what you do, and it'll be more likely to pull aggro until your pet learns a higher rank growl or you gain a talent that gives your pet additional focus for proper growls <1> I sort of want to try a hunter out, but I don't want to start playing another toon and not get my lock up there. <0> I'm having that problem right now, but I can use intimidation, the 3 second stun which generates a high amount of threat <1> I'm afraid I might like a hunter a little too much. <1> Sort of like what you did. :P <0> These quests have given me ALOT of extra attack power and a sweet bow <0> haha <0> man <0> I wish I woulda ditched my mage when I wanted to in my 40's <0> But I was like, NOPE GOTTA GET TO 60 <0> Worst mistake ever <1> I like locks, but they are pussies until they reach 60. <0> Try another cl*** if you have the urge. If you like it more, you like it more <1> Esp since I don't want to waste gold on gear. <0> Yeah that'd be dumb <1> I look around and see all of these people my level with 200+G worth of gear, lol. <0> It's funny, the noob side of our guild, most those guys are scraping for gold and can't afford their mounts.. my WIFE... is 39 and has 110g, first character ever <1> I think "When you hit 60, you will never afford your flying mount. You spend too much on gear" <1> Gold is easy to get, imho. <0> I bought my epic mount at 60, cost me 540 gold.. Left me with about 20g to spare.. I'm 62 now, and have 325g <1> When I was running ulda a lot, I could leave that instance with 8G worth of junk I would vendor, plus 3+G I picked up. <1> That becomes a nice chunk of change after 15 runs. <0> That's also after the 50g it cost to train at 60, and the 30g it cost me to train at 62 =P <0> yeah <0> I always pick up the grey junk drops too <0> I can always ditch a grey if I acquire a better drop <1> I just fill my bags up to the max in instances. <1> Greed on everything, and just loot about everything. <1> I only drop items to make room for a green or blue. <1> Since they will sell for more. <0> Don't ever p*** up greys in instances.. the weapons especially will always sell for a couple gold <1> I then AH some, vendor the rest. <0> Sooo many people leave the greys behind <1> Yeah. I found this homo shield that sold for 1g 80s and 50c on the vendor. <0> I pick up greys everywhere I go.. Like, a stack of grey broken boar tusks, sells for 1.6g in outland <1> I think they did it like that so everyone could farm gold. <1> Not just higher levels and experienced players with guild support. <0> Yeah <1> I'm still on the 'newbie' side of out guild. :P <1> I will consider myself so until I hit 65. <0> What ****s ****ing *** is, as a hunter I lose an entire bag slot to my quiver <0> That's 18 slots pissed down the drain <1> Same here. <1> I lose a slot for my shard bag. <0> you don't have to keep a shard bag, and you don't have to keep more than a few shards though :P <1> Oh, yes I do. <0> me, I need a ****load of arrows :P <1> I use shards like crazy. <0> I keep about 3,200 arrows on hand at all times <1> I will use about 15 in an instance. <0> I'd keep more if I could find a bigger quier <0> quiver <0> Why so many? <1> SSing people, making health stones, and then enchanting weapons for hunters, etc.
