<0> seriously <1> i've had the best CRT's before and they dont have **** on this <2> this 17 is in bad shape <3> cause i'll be using a 32 inch crt <2> it's so dark <0> i have 2 lcds here <0> i'm just speaking fact <0> tube monitors can get higher resolutions and better dotpitches <0> for alot less money <0> i can get hardware in general cheap, and i see plenty of great buys daily (if only i had the $$ for all of it) heh <0> don't see too many lcds that can perform as well as the higher end tube monitors <0> lcd monitors are nice tho... i love both of mine, and won't go back to tubes here <0> heh <3> lcd monitors are great in the workplace for now, i wouldn't want to sit infront of a crt all day at work <0> crts put off too much radiation <0> they strain your eyes
<0> after long usage <1> MRE: thats because lcd's just finally reached decent technology with the new AS-IPS panel, only available in 1 single lcd on the market right now, thats the one i got <4> which is? <1> the nec 20wmgx2 <0> nec is a good manufacturer <1> type "20wmgx2 review" in google and you'll just be like whoa <0> you got a good monitor <4> im happy with my dell 24" <1> the dell has mad input lag <0> but i'm sure you paid out the nose for it <0> heh <0> i like my Dell <4> eh <1> 30-55ms input lag on the 2405fpw's <4> $800 <1> most people won't notice it <0> i got a Dell 17" for $125 <4> not bad for a 24" <1> but FPS players discovered it <0> and it's a nice monitor <4> im a hardcore fps player <1> the dell is a S-PVA panel with overdrive <4> and if youre using that for an excuse <4> 30ms input lag <4> then you ****ing **** <4> thats all there is to it <1> and it buffers frames to use for the overdirve <1> to reduce blur <0> i need dual 7800gts for this box <0> no money yet for that tho <1> causing input lag <4> uh huh <1> fidelity an excuse for what you idiot? <4> upon switching monitors <1> im not just making **** up <4> and excuse for ****ing <4> the 30ms input lag is not whats causing you to die <0> i got dual 6600s sli <0> 'd atm <4> hahahah <1> fidelity that would most likely be true since i wasnt dumb enough to buy that monitor <0> lowend sli, but just don't have $900-$1000 for better cards <0> works good <4> dude <4> you havnt used it so shut the **** up <1> dont cry <4> im a REALLY picky person that only plays fps <3> relax <4> ive experienced it <4> lol <4> theres no detectable input lag. <1> you just can't see it <1> but its there <4> k <4> and it doesnt effect my performance <1> you're basically 1-3 frames behind everyone else on screen <4> sweet. and i still own them? <1> in any kind of app except a FPS it doesn't matter <1> but it drives most people crazy <1> and they can detect it <1> and they return them
<4> hahahah <4> they return them because they cant admit that they **** <4> so they blame it on their monitors 1 frame input lag <4> ;) <1> type "2405 input lag in google" and prepare to read 500 pages of people doing tests on the **** to figure out wtf is wrong with their monitor <1> and why everyone is returning them <1> dont be crying to me <1> like some kind of faggot <4> no need to <4> im happy with mine <4> maybe its their hardware? <1> the funniest thing is how you say you're some "hardcore fps player" yet you don't even notice it, you must have down syndrome or something because people who don't even play FPS's noticed it <4> I have no idea <4> hahahahahah <4> or its not the monitor you dip**** <3> fps fps fps <3> the human eye only needs 10fps to see fluid motion <1> 20 <4> hey leme <4> post on hardforum <1> its already all over hard forum <4> the guy with the input lag fixed it by turning on vsync <4> hahaha <1> nope <1> that just fixes blur <1> not input lag <1> 2 totally different things <4> whoops <4> it was his mouse <4> an mx1000 <4> WIRELESS MOUSE <1> wrong again <3> 21fps is basically what the accepted average for what we see is, but it's dicey <4> Anyway, the steps I took to make the lag go away are as follows: <4> 1. Changed my mouse to intellimouse and changed the setting on the mouse to read 200 times a second (dunno if that helps since it is an optical mouse) <4> 2. Got "certified" drivers for my video card off of nvidia's website (I'm running a quadro fx 1100 video card by the way) <4> 3. Run the game at it's native res. <4> he posted that <4> so you can stop now <4> everyone with the problem has proven its not the monitor <4> thanks <1> look at the pictures of people running tests using a crt + the 2405, they run a stopwatch program on the PC that measures down to .00x of a second <1> and the 2405fpw always comes in 40-50ms behind <4> um <3> we don't see in FPS anyways, fps is just a trick to simulate motion and to accurately simulate motion on a video game, 21fps is great <4> the person with the problem fixed it. <1> nope <4> yes. <4> sorry. <4> heres the thread <1> it's common knowledge S-PVA panels with overdrive have input lag <4> http://www.hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=937127 <1> i dont need to see your thread that you copy and paste <4> k <1> yet know nothing about what the technology is <4> why because it proves you wrong? <4> yea there may be input lag <4> but its not noticable <4> if it is noticable, its not the monitors fault <1> depends on who you are i guess <4> like in this guys case, it was his mouse <1> of course a wireless mouse is going to give you input lag what kind of retard doesn't know that <3> who uses a wireless mouse for fps gaming <4> this moron <1> the reason he probably noticed it worse is because he had Wireless mouse + monitor input lag at the same time thus making the computer completely unusable <4> obviously <4> ok well thing is <4> i dont notice it, and I do good in fps...soooo <4> i really dont care <4> if it has like 10ms input lag or not <1> 30-50 <4> k <4> it doesnt matter
