<5> :P <5> no reference to size <6> yea <6> could be 2 meters long :d <8> hi...anyone could tell me why it seems my object rotates when i animate only its x scale in 3DS please?? <9> Dejaview , are you havin issues rotating on the local axis vs. view/screen axis ? <8> Tranqui|: doesn't seem so...i have an object rotating fine, and another linked to it that i am scaling after the rotation takes places...for some reason i don't understand, the scaling also creates a rotation when animated :| <8> i'm quite new to 3DS, but still that doesn't look like something that should be happening <8> basically, i have a poly box, i click auto key, resize it along x axis...and when i play the animation, the scling takes place and a rotation happens too! :( <8> this is driving me crazy, any help would be appreciated <8> even pointing me to the right channel for asking for help :D <10> you're in the right channel <10> just nobody is awake yet :P <11> dejaview: delete all keys for that object. make sure you set a key at 0 for all tracks BEFORE you start making autokeys <11> also, if you continue to have problems with that object, reset the transform by attaching it to a fresh object like a plane then deleting the plane <8> thanks, i eventually found out that i had to "reset XFORM" in order for that problem not to occur <8> i supposed what you just told would do quite the same too :) <8> *suppose <11> unfortunately reset xform doesnt fix everything <11> a new object has an virgin unmodified pivot point. if you can aquire that pivot point, EVERYTHING is fixed <8> oki i'll keep that in mind for the next time i have such problems, thanks a lot :) <9> i just picked up a contract to film and create a demo dvd for a high end stripclub <12> http://youtube.com/watch?v=zGeX-SgPsIA <---- Duracell - One man 8-bit boyband, omgf ! <13> wtf <13> how is he playing ? <14> his feet and hand? <13> uhm <14> electronic drums or triggers <13> wtf is making the melody <13> lol <14> no idea about that ;( <14> bad sync? <13> why not just use a keyboard ? :P <14> now where's the fun in that? ;( <13> haha <14> hes got an electronic box under the largest of the drums <14> center of the screen <14> sort of <14> think that's the one making parts of the melody <13> yeah <14> he shifts something with it before the melody starts anyways <13> probably <11> in this age of technology you are telling me any of you doubt the power of automation? <14> uh no? <13> i was just wondering ... why use the drums at all :P <14> but that thing looks as the one commonly used by people playing in bands <13> "This next song is called Hurricane ... *press play* <13> haha <14> just can't remember the term for it ;( <14> haha :) <15> anyone know where to get plastic business cards printed out at? <15> I want some for me self! :P <11> make yer own <15> plastic? <11> why not <15> what kinda of printer will print out on that type of plastic? <13> mcarp is all about the technology today :P <15> lol <11> silk screeners <11> god! i thought EVERYBODY knew how to silk screen <11> what kinda artists are you ppl? <15> !?!?!? Yeah! what mcarp said <16> i saw some really nice plastic and metal business cards somewhere. cant remember the company at all :| <15> they offered em trev2? <11> well. ive got news for you. standout-ish business cards do NOT necessarily increase your chances of business. lack of conformation to the social process can actually be a deterent. if your paper card is printed crisply and looks professionaly, you have as good a chance as anyone. <16> you can do some great things with CMYK on transparent plastic cards though :D <16> and clever die cutting stencils \o/ <11> you need to shoot for the 90% of acceptable practice market. business ppl expect white cards with crisp black print on strong fonts that are easily readable. <11> true that you can trev2, unfortunately business does not allow non-conformism <16> coca-cola is white with a thick black glossy rubbery ink. quite slick but i thought they'd have it red/white <11> thats a good example of business uniform compliance trev2 <16> yes its sad :< <11> i agree
