I want to make a WEB INTERFACE in PHP wich start the process... and tells me how much time is going to take... and the number of registry where currently is working the perl script... IS THIS POSSIBLE?
<1> starting it would work, but i dont know how exactly you would calculate the estimated time. and as for sending data from the perl script to the php script to let it know where it's at, i dunno. you could write a function int he perl script to output the data corresponding to it's current running time and location in the process but i dunno.
