<tipster19> and i want to distort the image so that it is a 180 degree arc (i.e i put 2 together to form a circle) ti go around a poker chip
<tipster19> am i going to be able to do this easily with photoshop ?

<tipster19> yes ( a rectangle with text in)

<tipster19> then place the 2 on a poker chip (advertisement)
<far2> well, there's the "text along a path" option
<far2> might be easier
<tipster19> not quite as simple as that
<far2> you could draw a path, then type the text along it
<tipster19> as the font as been modified
<tipster19> the text is really an image now
<far2> then stroke the path with a heavy black

<far2> well, there are several distortion filters
<far2> the problem is, they all cause blurring
<far2> and on text, that'd be bad
<tipster19> ive played around with them but dont seem to have eny joy
<tipster19> i cant even get close to doing it tho, (im a noob)
<tipster19> plus when i open my image its long and thin will i need to change the canvas size to allow the distortion ?

<rubik> im reading a biography of mozart in his day there was absolutely no copyright laws of any kind
<rubik> which caused some problems, mozart died in poverty and was buried in a mass grave with no headstone
<ansimation> i would image that there wasn't many laws of any kind.

<rubik> but controlled by the aristocracy
