<0> hey rubber <1> Hello <1> second Hello <1> third Hello <0> hi <1> hey <1> how are you mr.rub? <1> do you know that ill which come with cold weather <0> yes i do i know it very well <1> that makes you feel pain in your nose and your mouth <0> we call it 'influenza' usually called 'flu' for general conversation <0> we also call it 'having a cold' <1> yeas <0> and 'penumonia' in its worst form <1> we call it influenza <1> we stole this word from you
<1> oof really bad <0> but you don't pronounce it like us <0> well it is not a common disease in your climate is it? <1> in contrast, it is <1> look here in Saudi Arabia <1> we have two season <1> Summer and winter <1> when winter come i'm sure half of people in Suadi Arabia start with influenza <0> ok but then you must have had a word for this a very long time ago why would you take an english word <1> yeah <1> but I don't know what is it <1> influenza it's the common description for this <1> or sometimes use like " having a cold " <1> I've to reset my modem <1> brb <1> there's good movie <1> War photographer <2> Augh. <2> I can NOT get Photoshop to darken this image. <2> I've tried it every way I can think. <2> Using Levels, Contrast, etc... <2> Looks fine in preview, but when I hit ok, it reverts to the lighter version again. <2> It's just a pencil drawing that I've bumped the contrast up to black and white. <2> I can add a layer that's multiplied and get the effect, but lose it again if I flatten. <2> Burn doesn't work either. <2> Or Curves. <2> wtf? <0> dryahd what <0> dryad you there? <2> Hmm? <0> your using an adjustment layer? <0> what image mode is it in? <3> http://healthbolt.net/2006/12/27/a-short-history-of-the-ideal-female-body/ <2> 8 bit RGB <0> no active selection in the layer somewhere? <2> haha <2> No. <0> ok well if it shows in preview then theres something amiss <2> I've quit Photoshop, I've saved the image as flattened, I've dragged it off onto another document... <2> I even rebooted. <2> Still the same thing. <2> I can adjust away, but as soon as I hit OK, whatever I did goes away. <0> the mystery of the non compliant image <2> Just tried to change colors. That didn't work either. <2> Got a lovely sepia tone, and poof! as soon as I hit OK. <2> AUGH. <0> send me a flattened ver <2> I think I'm gonna decide Photoshop is borked and delete my prefs. <2> rubik, uploading. <0> ok <0> you got me curious <2> rubik, it's the "Girl with puppy contrast.psd.zip at http://www.dryadgrove.com/Misc/ <2> I would have thought that restarting Photoshop would have fixed the problem. <2> Hmm. <0> ok <2> Lemme open something else and see what happens. <0> works fine here <2> Hmm. <2> I'm thinking corrupt prefs file then. <2> I just opened another scanned pencil drawing and Contrast worked, but not as dark as it was in Preview. <2> Changing colors worked fine.
<0> prefs its all about the corrupt prefs <2> I think so. <2> heh <2> Ok, gonna reboot again. <4> Hmmm. <4> Well, contrast is working again, but it's still lightening up after I hit OK. <4> Duplicating the layer, multiply, then flatten worked fine tho. <4> Crap. Colorizing doesn't. <4> I think I'm gonna have to reinstall Photoshop. :( <4> Something's majorly hosed. <0> ouch <4> I rescanned the image and started fresh, just in case there was some corruption in the image itself. <0> and now what? <4> Oh, that was the version I tried working in above. <4> It's Photoshop, not the image. <0> so the scanned image doesn't work either <4> I've checked my layer mode, image mode, etc... <4> No. <4> Well, it does, but it lightens up when I hit OK. <4> And doesn't take color. <0> never heard of that before <4> I just colorized another pencil drawing... <4> wtf? <4> That one had been greyscale, and I switched it to RGB to color it. Worked fine. <4> So why doesn't this one image work? <4> I think I've checked all the settings that might affect it. <0> it worked fine for me so <4> wtf? <4> That one took contrast just fine as well too. <0> sher is that you in the drawing? <4> No. <4> Just an image off a website. <0> ok <4> The guy wants me to convert his stock photos into drawings. <4> I was trying to give him some options as to how they'd look and ran into this rogue image problem. <4> It just plain refuses to let me edit it further. <5> angsty, you there? <4> The new scan is letting me multiply a layer then flatten down. I guess I'll have to start over with that and do it that way. <4> I did a lot of cleaning up of the original scan before I started bumping the contrast. <4> Rats. <6> hey zan <7> hioh <7> how goes it <7> im starting a warcraft 2 game of all things <6> cold as hell here today, SUPER windy <3> same here <3> well, not so much cold <3> but really windy <4> Augh. <4> Somebody shoot me! <4> :) <4> Woo! <4> Taters! <6> not the kind you want to try and catch <4> Ok, I'm done working for the night. <4> I've got three different styles for my client's artwork to show him. <4> Time for dinner. <3> mmmm, potatoes <3> I need to eat <3> can't decide on what <5> yawn <3> werd <3> waking up for nap or ready for one? <5> neither <5> just got done spoonin with the neighbor <5> :D <3> gtfo <3> what's his name? <5> heh, her name is tabatha... <3> pics <5> didn't take none yet
