<0> heh. I live in hippieville. :) <0> the local "bike library" does stuff like that all the time... <1> wonderful sun set <2> Al-Ashtar : Which? the rainbow? <1> picture #6 maybe <1> I lost count <0> "tall bikes" are also quite popular... one bike welded on top of another, with the chain connecting the cranks vertically, so you sit 5 feet off the ground. <2> randyg: You guys have WAY too much time on your hands. <0> lol <0> hey, the kinetic scuplture race is the only bike-related thing I do. :P <1> simmy: your son looks like the only kid with full gear hehehe <2> Al-Ashtar : there were probably 4-6 of 'em under 10 that had full gear. <1> $3.29 for a litter of gas ?!!! <2> no... per gallon. <1> liter* <1> ooh
<1> still bad <2> yeah. <0> only 3.29? it's 3.59 right now I think, was 3.79 the other day... <2> in the time i've owned my car (6 years, now)... I've seen gas go from $1.21 (OMG, THAT'S EXPENSIVE!) to $3.19 (what I paid today) <0> heh, when I got my subie, gas as $0.99/gallon. :) <2> that's about what it was when I got my first car a few years prior. <2> hell... i've only been driving 11 years. <0> heh <1> LOL @ Hell <2> Al-Ashtar : Hell is only about 75 miles NW of Sterling Heights. <1> that's a street name ? <2> in the fall, I'm planning a 2-day, round-trip "To hell and back" bike trip. <2> no... Hell, Michigan. <2> http://hell2u.com/whats_happening.htm <2> it's about half-way between lansing and detroit, south of I96. <2> (amazing that I can talk to a guy in Kuwait in such local terms and he probably knows where I"m talking about) <1> I don't remember :) <2> oh. <1> simmy: how was biking uphill with your son along ? <2> Al-Ashtar : slow. <1> the group doesn't go on without you ? <2> we walked up 3 hills.... 2 cause the chain fell off when I was trying to down-shift. One was during the century on a HUGE hill, that took forever. <2> Al-Ashtar : nope... breakfast was from 6am-9am. The trucks left at 9:30am (with our gear). Dinner was 5-7pm. If you weren't in by 7, they sent the "Sweepers" out to find you. <3> anyone can help me? <3> please <1> well organized <2> mieayam : Nope... cause you haven't asked a specific question. <2> Al-Ashtar : VERY. I'd recommend it to ANYONE that wants to try something new. <3> my mailserver every morning full of spam <1> use spam***ist <1> or something <2> I use spam******in and I'm _VERY_ happy with it. <3> i have install spam***asin <3> but the spam not lost <3> :(( <2> do you have your server set up to delete (not just flag) the spam? <3> howto tweaking spam***asin to fight with spam <3> <2> do you have your server set up to delete (not just flag) the spam? <--- no flag > delete > drop <2> flag, delete, drop? Huh? <2> what mail server are you using, anyway? <3> qmail from qmialrocks.org <2> oh boy.... <3> why? <2> qmail + spam******in is a pain in the ***. I don't even remember how I got it working. <2> so you got your procmail set up to do something with the mail after it's flagged, right? <2> (I'm guessing you don't) <3> yes you right <2> # Divert spam <2> :0: <2> * ^X-Spam-Status: Yes <2> $HOME/Maildir/.Spam/ <2> # Deliver all other mail to inbox <2> :0: <2> $HOME/Maildir/ <3> your recommend for my problem? <2> that should look familiar. If it doesn't... you haven't configured procmail yet. <3> no... no... i haven't configured procmail <2> alllllrighty. :) <3> www.qmailrocks.org <2> spend some time googling. qmail+spam******in is a pain in the ***. It took me WEEKS to get it right. And it was such a pain in the ***, I don't recommend ANYONE try to make the two play nicely. When I build up an email server for my company, it's getting postfix or exim. I'm avoiding qmail from this point forward. <2> at this point, the only thing I like about qmail is MAILDIR... I like having distinct files for each email. Makes it easier to dig through things.
<3> so ... what must be done by me? replace qmail with postfix? <2> If you'd like to save yourself LOTS of headaches... that's what I'd recommend. <2> qmail works great once you finally get it up and running... but it's SUCH a pain in the *** to make it functional. <4> I'm surprised you're still using it. <2> jblack : Only because I haven't made time to convert to postfix. <2> When I get this box built up for my side-job... I'll probably also convert my own setup. <2> and for now... it "just works." ... mostly. <1> simmy: you have the eye of a photographer <2> jblack : Are you an exim or a postfix guy? <1> picking nice things here <3> can i just tweaking spam***asin for solve my problem? but not replaced my qmail with postfix? <4> Postifx. <4> Easy to install and configure and easy to manage. <4> My setup here is something like: <3> <4> Easy to install and configure and easy to manage. <-- Postfix ??? <4> [External mail server]<----[uucp over ssh]----> [laptop mailserver (Where I do mail)] <4> mieayam : Yeah. <5> u remind me to blame the p-i-s for the email <3> hmmm..... do you have step by step complete tutorial install postfix + spam***asin + pop3 + smtp ? <1> simmy: your son was injured ? left leg ? <1> http://gallery.tehlunix.org/v/trips/palm2006/DSCF3447.jpg.html <6> http://tinyurl.com/lx8tf <7> it's a new history?> <7> ? <8> mieayam, other alternative, dspam serach it in freshmeat <8> its a daemon <8> i use both spam***asin and dspam <8> i installed qmail and postfix just for test. after run all, sendmail is my choice :) <7> im downloading the 64bit suse linux dvd v10.1 [x86] <7> 7.71% complete <1> ? <9> damn gnobel, still downloading??? you started kubuntu about 24 hours ago! <3> <8> mieayam, other alternative, dspam serach it in freshmeat <--- dspam? ok i'll try <3> thanks <3> who know about pyzor and razor + dcc ? <3> can them fight with spam? <7> i ditched kubuntu when i realized i was actually downloading the amd only 64bit version...i want it to run on a celeron <7> so i had a look around and found that most 64bit linux os's only cater for amds not intel <7> but i found opensuse that has a 64bit distribution that will work with my celeron or any intel <7> :D <7> go OpenSuse <7> hrm actually...im not downloading opensuse, it's suselinux <7> i hope it's still free....no nasty registration or anything i hope :/ <10> Anyone good on mysql here? <11> I need an email escrow system. Something that will queue up suspected spam for release, and will notify people periodically and let people manage their spam queue. I'd prefer not to have to reinvent this. Anyone aware of a product that happily grafts onto exim? <4> Poseiden: I don't know of such a thing. <4> I'm not sure it exists. The volume would be overwhelming. <11> I use a commercial package called MX/Mail. <7> im downloading the 64bit suse linux dvd v10.1 [x86] - 8.44% complete <4> Well... Let me put it this way. I get about 600 spams a day. Plus. <4> What I have setup is mail, baby, bathwather and blindly removed. <12> I wasn't too impressed with that 64bit suse--at least on amd64 hardware <7> why not? <4> Less than 2 points goes to my email. Of that that's left, less than 4 points go to baby. Less than 9 goes to bathwater. <12> I experienced numerous integration issues <7> eg? <13> Poseiden: try www.network-box.com <7> im downloading it right now <12> for starters, some of the libraries were only available in 32bit variants <7> ?? <7> ahh <7> that ****s <4> You didn't know that? <7> did it still run in 64bit though? <12> kde wasn't configured very well for commercial use <3> anyone have try clarckconnect ? <7> dp2, did it still run 32bit apps ok? <11> Routermen: hrm. Not looking for an appliance so much as a simple little piece of software. But thanks, I'll investigate this. <12> it ran 32bit apps ok, but I (and several ppl on my team) had to tweak things <7> darn <12> especially when it came to generic X apps <7> im a newby <7> do you think suse linux would be alright for a newby? <3> Is there someone who had tried clarckconnect ?
