<7> yeah. i did finish a concept yesterday, and now im creating dialog functionality as well <7> so you select some stuff in menus, fill in a few p***words, and then stuff happens automagically :D <9> yay :) we love automagical <7> dialog --stdout --defaultno --yesno "this script modifies the getAccess database. do you want to continue?" 0 -1 <7> :D <7> try that btw, and you'll see where slack got its menus <7> hehe <9> heh <9> im knackered.. <9> but i got thursday/friday off hooah <9> cant wait.. :) sitting on my *** doing nothing for 2 days yay. <9> it's a rarity that happens these days, cant remember the last holiday i had <7> welshiD: hehe, you should take a break now and then <9> yeah i dont tend to have much time to do that ;) <9> got these 2 holiday days, then the end of sept/ start of Oct off aswell yaya <9> dont belive i hammered 400 uk pounds at the weekend shopping :( <7> what did you buy? new furniture? <9> lol no.. went clothes shopping and shoe shopping.. <7> ah <7> i need to buy some clothes later <9> hehe blew it all within 2hours of shopping.. <7> i dont think a full suit or a "select * from users where clue > 0 " like shirt would impress tnight :D <9> lol <9> i avoid wearing a suit. only Dave Aitel is allowed to wear a suit ;) <9> maybe wear mine 4times a year at most, i do my tutor in whatever i want (*phew*) <9> admitedly my dad is coming up on thursday, so i've got him to deal with :( <7> heh <7> well, wearing a suit will probably impress him. <9> aint lived with ne of my parents for like 7-8years.. <7> especially when you got those italian shoes to go with it <9> yeah probably, he thought I.T. was a ****e job, until i walked him round a DC "here dad, if this one goes down thats 125,000 per hour.. <9> hell tim, you dress to smart for me, does your office have a dress code? <7> welshiD: no. but some customers have <7> :D <9> (old job that was.. nodays he's just scared of what i do, especially when i showed him some basic MiTm stuff..) <7> mostly i wear a full black or faded jeans with old shirt outfit to work <9> hooah <7> mr Mulder7! <9> hey mulder <10> mr timmah <10> mr welshiD <9> hows tricks mulder? <10> good <9> yay good to hear :) <10> reading a whole bunch of journal articles/cases <10> and yourself? <9> ahh not much, preping for a long travel to a training course this evening.. <11> hail all <10> sounds interesting <10> is the course going to be fun? <11> guys , i had a new copy of Fedora2 , when i tried installing it it failed on the 2nd CD, I had windows and RH-linux9 on the box , now none of them work , my guess is the MBR is re-written . how can i fix this . <11> i need to say that i tried re-installing RH9 and compleated perfectlly , but the system didnt boot , after that i tried installing WINxp again to fix the mbr but it didnt c the HDD partitions and told me that it will need to re-write the partition table. <11> this will cause the data to be deleted on the windows , I CANT AFORD THAT. please help me . <10> Whether a police search or seizure is unreasonable depends on both the subject-matter and the particular time, place and circumstance. <-- i hate it when judges say that. it means they dont have a ****ing clue and want to be able to make it up case by case <10> NeedHelp, you have a problem. what were you doing with fedora in the install? <11> like i normally do , but the 2nd CD was courrupted <11> i have installed it before , and nothing went wrong , but this copy made all the problems. <11> ohh BTW , all linux CD'z boot perfectlly , win98 also , but winXP cd'z are not booting , my guess is that it tries reading the FS and cant <11> plzz help me , i have over 10GB of source code on the windows OS. i only need to save that. <12> NeedHelp : I was hoping you were grown up enough to not use this aol-eze crap that all these little kids were using. Looks like I was wrong. <10> well, the bootsector stuff is mostly done on the first cd i would imagine <11> vrsa : whats aol-eze. ? <10> NeedHelp, i can suggest you boot up something like knoppix, mount windows fs, and backup as much stuff as possible first <11> mulder_ : i tried using ReadNTFS , and it didnt read any files from the HD. <10> NeedHelp, what's that? <11> although it found the partition , but couldint complete scanning it. <11> mulder_ : its a prog. that reads and backs up the data on a NTFS fs. <10> NeedHelp, mount it normally in linux <10> NeedHelp, linux is perfectly capable of doing ntfs read safely. <11> i cant boot linux , and when i tried Linux Rescue , it gave me ( NTFS unknown FS ).
