<1> some shell users have their own domains right ? so they change the dns of their domain to your dns so you can make a vhost out of it. a vhost that no other user can use only the owner of the domain. this is called a private vhost.
<5> You have to change the reverse. The owner of the ip (typically the isp) does that.
