<0> the redhead?
<0> yeah, they're feisty
<1> doesn't look like she's a naturual red head
<2> I wouldn't mind meeting a ready ****head
<0> tequilla: take me
<0> take me now
<2> there are only two natural redheads: one is Ariel the little mermaid, the other is Scarlett (and not from GWTW either)
<2> everyone else is just an orange- (or lightmaroon-) head
<0> whoa, she's cute. http://meetme.hotornot.com/r/?emid=GLEEBRR
<1> she has small teeth
<0> is that a selection criterion for you?
<1> one of many
<3> that's why you're single
<0> haha, great text: http://meetme.hotornot.com/r/?emid=GLR8OLE
<3> shes hot!
<3> illegal though

<0> illegal?
<3> well maybe not
<1> lol
<3> has anyone ever met anyone from that site?
<0> nope
<0> I'm too cheap to pay for stuff like that
<2> Hm... Carol's mom might be warming up to me now :)
<2> scalar: you're single?
<0> hmm. I don't know
<2> oh, his comment was directed at azarius
<0> officially yes, I guess
<0> probably the same way
<0> because just a few days I jokingly asked her "so you're gonna dump me now?" and se responded "no, I can't dump you. we're not together."
<2> wonder if she wanted you to follow up with contradiction or something similar
<0> nah, it's just sort of a running gag
<0> hmm, I still haven't made up my mind about skipping cl*** tomorrow :/
<0> but I think I'm going to bed now
<2> 'night
<4> anyone?
<2> ?
<4> lol
<4> stupid clone
<4> oh
<4> i am doing testing and algorithm analysis for vectors and lists
<4> so i have a push_back(some integer here) in a forloop
<4> what will happen if i exhaust the memory of my system with a really large N (number of pushbacks)?
<2> exhaust physical memory? the OS will start using virtual memory
<4> what happens then
<4> what if virtual memory is exhausted as well
<5> poof!
<4> explodes?
<2> your OS will probably kill your program before that
<4> let's say my OS doesn't have that functionality, what happens then
<6> ffs just try it
<4> should i try it?
<4> so far so good
<4> no crash or killings
<4> oooooo
<4> just aborted!!!!!!!!!!!!!
<4> oh my god
<4> i exhausted the memory
<4> physical memory
<6> ....so?
<4> that's so cool
<6> s/cool/lame/
<4> you are very rude
<6> alas, some of us are blessed
<5> hehe
<7> Anyone know of a good way to debug why a pc is hanging?
<2> isolate the hardware component that's causing the fault by running the PC with replacements from other computers ?
<7> I think it might be a driver issue, but I need to capture the state of the pc some how to tell, any idea on how to do that?
<5> if there's no bsod to go with the hanging, it's trail and error im afraid
<7> drat
<6> run a checked build of windows and debug it remotely? :P
<7> hmm, i could possibly do that
<8> hi! i want to p*** an array of fixed length to a function by reference. do i have to do this with a pointer or can i use a "real" reference?
<8> furthermore, can i do this with a template function for some different fixed lengths? i need lengths arround 3, 4 and 5.
<9> where's nurbs?

<9> hmz
<9> bbl
<10> is any one here is programing with c++
<10> ???
<11> sandman what
<10> do you programing with c++?
<10> hello
<10> p5a
<10> are you there?
<12> i have visual basic 6.0 installed on my windows xp laptop, i am trying to install visual c++ 2005 express edition, i'm getting an error that goes 1304 error writing to file microsoft.VSDesigner.dll verify that you have access to that directory. i don't seem to have that file anywhere on my hard drive. can anyone help?
<13> did you close all programs before starting to install?
<14> lackingbrain, that's what you get for having piles of **** installed
<14> </constructive help>
<12> well nortons always running in the back ground
<12> other than that.. yeah.. nothing else
<12> piles of ****?
<12> what piles of ****.
<10> hello
<10> is any one here?
<11> yes
<10> i need to ask is it better to learn C# or Java?
<11> Why are you asking that in #c++ ?
<11> It depends on the type of development you wish to do.
<10> i'm now learning c++ but in the future i have to decide to learn an modern language
<10> so..
<10> how c# is doing everything while java is doing everything also
<10> i think this!..
<10> am i right?
<11> I believe C# is derived from c++ somewhat. Java is similar to C++ as wll but is used in a different environment -usually- the internet.
<11> you think what?
<10> you mean that java is used alot in terms of web applications?
<15> Sandman7765: depends on what you intend to do with it
<11> yes
<10> well if we considered the information system applications and the database programs?
<10> what is the prefered language
<10> ?
<10> hello
<15> well depends on how you desire to present the application as well
<15> and where you desire to run it
<15> I personally wouldnt make a static db app in C#
<10> so if u about to do it what language u use
<10> ?
<15> I'd either have a web based presentation, or c++ app
<10> please wait i will be back now
<15> if its a db though presentation is up to you
<15> take people soft
<15> web presentation
<15> our accounts receivable is java
<15> ms sql tools c++ .net
<15> its up to you
<13> sounds like you have a mess.
<13> heh
<13> C# was more derived from Java than C++
<15> indeed
<13> C# is what MS meant to do with MS Java
<13> that Sun wouldn't let them do
<13> heh
<13> I wonder if J# ever got anywhere.
<16> probably about as far as J++ did
<15> nah they got sued over that I thought
<15> which is one of the reasons it got turned to c#
<10> well i need advice
<15> Sandman7765: well the advice is the presentation should fit the use
<10> iam learning now c++ console application and now i need to know what is the best step to do after that
<15> and how are we to decide your usage requirements thats part of your job
<15> c++ with gui toolkits maybe?
<13> J++ was a joke.
<10> someone told me that the console application in c++ is very good to know basics after that you have to learn visual c++
<10> is that right?
<15> learn whatever you like
<15> if you want to learn visual studio c++.net do it
<13> Sandman7765: learn C++ fully, and you can learn some GUI toolkits or maybe component-based architecture (if you'd rather go lower than higher level)
<13> What are your goals with learning C++?
<13> Desktop app development?
